The very pale clarete 2021 Rosado, produced with Tempranillo and Albillo Mayor grapes, is not a shy wine, hitting the scale at 14% alcohol, and it’s round and serious, with depth and complexity that go beyond the fresh and quaffable rosés. It has a perfumed but shy nose of rose petals and a balanced palate with lovely chalkiness, coming through as serious and balanced and with a dry finish. It fermented and matured in concrete and French oak barrels. 5,520 bottles and 355 magnums were filled in June 2022.
