The red 2022 Dominio del Pidio has aromas of ripe berries and aromatic herbs, with a more Mediterranean profile. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, with abundant, slightly dusty tannins, I think the signature of the year. This contains some 8% white grapes to complement the Tempranillo and fermented with 12% full clusters in concrete, and the wine matured in 225- and 600-liter French oak barrels for 13 months. It comes in at 14.5% alcohol, with integrated acidity. 44,184 bottle and 700 magnums produced.
