The beautiful Suavia Trebbiano di Soave Massifitti is a very special wine and one that gives me enormous pleasure to recommend. There are few monovarietal expressions of Trebbiano di Soave, and this is very much a passion project for the Tessari sisters who run this winery with so much passion. Stone fruit, melon, honey and white flower transition to crushed mineral and limestone. The wine is tonic and pure, yet it also shows long staying power. This release of 20,000 bottles represents one of the best white wines from a region that makes excellent whites (and reds too). The mineral definition here is outstanding.
