Robert Parker: Showing a medium ruby color and a streamlined consistency, the Mazzi Roberto Valpolicella Classico Superiore Sanperetto aspires to simplicity and ease of drinking. The blend is 65% Corvina, 5% Corvinone, 25% Rondinella and 5% Molinara, and the wine ages in oak for nine months. The bouquet delivers bright cherry aromas and tangy plum with light spice and bitter almond.
