The La Rasina 2018 Rosso di Montalcino shows a full and generous display of succulent fruit that comes as a very happy surprise. Rosso di Montalcino can sometimes be a thin and thorny wine, but not this expression from La Rasina. The ripeness and that dark fruit intensity are bolder and deeper here compared to many of its peers. If you’re looking for an easy-drinking Rosso, this is a great recommendation with an approachable price, and an ample production of 15,000 bottles.
